North Vietnam, Folk Dancing on the high plain of Tay Nguyen, December 20th, 1972, Michel Nr. 709-716; Eight stamps in the nominals of 12 xu (three stamps), 20 xu, 30 xu, 40 xu, 50 xu and 1 Dong were issued perforated 12.25 and Imperforate.

Single franking of one of the 12 xu stamp on an international air mail letter sent from Hanoi to East Germany in December of 1972.

Very rare express mail letter sent to Klewitz in September of 1973 featuring half of the im-perforated set. Im-perforated stamps on postally used cover are very rare. The overall postage of the letter amounted to 1.98 Dong which appears to be in excess of the required tariff for a standard 20 gram express mail letter to West Germany. Initially the letter was intended to be sent by registered mail (Tariff of 1.60 Dong), however that did not take place.

Another very rare letter sent to Klewitz in September of 1973 featuring the remainder of the im-perforated set. Im-perforated stamps on postally used cover are very rare. The overall postage of the letter amounted to 2.02 Dong which appears to be in excess of the required tariff for a standard 20 gram express mail letter to West Germany. Initially the letter was intended to be sent by registered mail (Tariff of 1.60 Dong), however that did not take place.

Mixed franking of all three 12 xu Folk Dance stamps together with the 60xu Child Games and 12xu Domestic Handycraft stamps paying an overall postage of 1.08D on an international air mail letter sent to East Germany in May of 1975.

Mixed franking of the 12xu, 20xu and 40xu Folk Dance stamps together with the 12xu and 20xu Domestic Craft stamps paying an overall postage of 1.04D on an international air mail letter sent from Nigh-An to East Germany in May of 1975.

Mixed franking featuring the 40xu Folk Dance stamp plus the 50xu Wild Animal and 2xu NLF stamp for an overall postage of 92xu on an air-mail letter sent to East Germany in 1976.

Mixed franking of the 50xu Folk Dance stamp together with a pair of the 12xu Sojus stamps for an overall postage of 74xu sent on an air-mail letter to France in January of 1973.

Rare registered express mail letter sent to Klewitz in May of 1975 featuring one of the 12 xu values plus a host of other NVN stamps. Overall postage of 2.90 Dong.

Spectacular mass franking of the Five Year Plan series on a large registered express mail envelope mailed to Klewitz in October of 1980. The letter carries a number of the perforation errors of the Five Year Plan stamps. There is also  a 12 xu Folk Dances stamp. The overall postage amounted to 6.14 Dong. Hand-made express mail label using a typewriter. Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse.

Very rare registered express mail letter sent to Klewitz in October of 1980. It carries the souvenir sheet for HCM’s 70th Birthday and a 20 xu Year of the Child that shows a small perforation error (missing perforation holes). Souvenir sheets on postally used cover are very rare. There is also a 30 xu Tay Nguyen stamp. The overall postage amounted to 4.82 Dong. Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse.
