Unified Vietnam, 65. Anniversary of the October Revolution, November 11th, 1982, Michel Nr. 1266-1267; Two stamps, both with a 30 xu nominal were issued in perforation 11. The kyrilic “bAM” stands for Baikal-Armur-Magistrale which is part of the Trans Siberian Railway.

A small number of the stamps with the two people has surfaced that show a reddish grid across the entire surface of the stamp giving the paper a pink hue. Below is such a mint pair.

Rare local letter sent in June of 1983 from Hung Dao to Cham-Qi using one of the 30xu KPdSU values.

Strange local letter sent in February of 1983from Can Tho to HCM City and featuring the 20 xu Hymenopteron and the 30xu October Revolution stamp paying an overall postage of 50 xu. On both stamps the perforation was cut off for unknown reason but the letter was transported without incident. HCM City machine arrival cancel on the reverse.

Mixed franking of the 1D Asia Games stamp plus four of the 30 xu October Revolution stamps paying an overall postage of 2.20D on an international letter to an East German Vietnamese contract worker in 1982.

Registered letter sent from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz in May of 1983. The letter features a strip of five of each October Revolution stamps that shows progressively darker colors from left to right. The overall postage amounted to 23.54 Dong (including the red free frank for 6 Dong). Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse. Green Fulda custom cachet on front.

Mixed franking of the Asia Games set together with stamps from the October Revolution and Year of the Cild sets paying an overall postage of 18.6D on a registered international air mail letter sent from HCM City to Hong Kong in January of 1983.

Registered letter sent from Nguyen Trai to Klewitz in May of 1983. The letter carries the October Revolution set in different color shades. The second stamp from the top left shows a double printing of the orange color. The Bottom left stamp a double printing of both colors. Error stamps on postally used cover are very rare. Registered letter sent from Nguyen Trai to Klewitz in May of 1983. The letter carries two pairs of the 30 xu October Revolution stamp. The left stamp of each pair shows the plate errors of “Thang damaged” and “black line under 9 of 1982”. Error stamps on postally used cover are very rare. There are also two HCM Communist Party stamps that feature both colors this stamp was produced in. The overall postage amounted to 18 Dong. Registered letter setoff rom Nguyen Trai to Klewitz in December of 1983. The letter carries different color shades of both October Revolution stamps plus other NVN stamps for an overall postage of 10.22 Dong (including the red free frank for 5 Dong”. Green Fulda custom cachet on the reverse.

Registered letter sent from Nguyen Trai to Klewitz in February of 1984 featuring the entire perforated Locomotives stamp set along with some October revolution stamps. The overall postage amounted to 25.02D (including the red free frank for 3.50D). Green Fulda custom cachet on front.

Rare registered letter featuring pairs of two different color shades of the stamp along with the missing perforation holes. The letter also shows the October Revolution set plus some Asia Games stamps for an overall postage of 13.80D.Fragment of green Fulda custom cachet on front.

Very rare registered letter featuring the imperforate Soviet Union stamp, a mis-perforated stamp plus a stamp with a paper fold. Imperforate and error stamps on postally used cover are very rare. The letter also carries an imperforate Military Free Frank from 1984 that was not intended for international postage. Together with the other NVN stamps and the red free frank for 5D the overall postage of the letter amounted to 16.62D. Green Fulda custom cachet on front.

Registered air mail letter sent in September of 1984 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. It carries the higher values of the Union Congress set in multiple sets, the 30xu October Revolution stamp with a double printing of the red color and with a  dirty printing plate. There are also some Harmful Insect stamps for an overall postage of 48.20D (including the red free frank for 24D). Errors stamps on postally used cover are very rare.
