Unified Vietnam, Sculptures of the Tay-Phu’o’ng Pagoda (II), July 1st, 1978, Michel Nr. 974-983; A set very similar to the one issued in 1971 (Michel Nr. 660-667) were issued in the nominals of 12 xu (three stamps), 20 xu (two stamps), 30 xu, 40 xu, 50 xu, 60 xu and 1 Dong were issued in perforation 12.0 and imperforate.

Rare registered express mail letter mailed to Klewitz in August of 1978. The letter carries half of the perforated set plus the 12 xu International Women Day with the color variety “grey-olive” instead “olive-brown”. The overall postage amounted to 4.10 Dong. Another rare registered express mail letter mailed to Klewitz in August of 1978. The letter carries the other half of the perforated plus other NVN stamps. The overall postage amounted to 4.04 Dong. Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse. Green Fulda custom cachet on front.

Mixed franking of the Tay-Phu’o’ng Pagoda II set together with stamps from the Bulgaria and Year of the Child sets paying an overall postage of 22.06D (including the red free frank for 5.2D) on a registered international air mail letter sent from HCM City to Hong Kong in October of 1982. Note that one of the 2D Bulgaria stamps shows a printing error on which the 2D nominal is barely legible. 

Very rare registered express mail letter sent to Klewitz in September of 1978. The letter carries half of the im-perforated Sculpture set plus other NVN stamps for an overall postage of 4.51 Dong. Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare. Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse.

Rare registered express mail letter sent to Klewitz in October of 1979. The letter carries five of the 40 xu stamp plus other NVN stamps from the period. The overall postage amounted to 4.78 Dong. Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse. Green Fulda custom cachet on front. Unusual hand-made version of the express mail label as apparently the printed version had run out.

Very rare registered express mail letter sent to Klewitz in February of 1980. It features the set with two color variations of the 12 xu Einstein value. It also carries a 12 xu Einstein stamp without the black printing run. Error stamps on postally used cover are very rare as few philatelist water to expose their error stamp to get lost or damaged during transit. There are also number of the second statues set on the back. The overall postage amounted to 4.80 Dong. Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse. Fulda green custom cachet on front.

Another very rare letter mailed to Klewitz in August of 1980. The letter features three of the 12 xu Einstein stamps, one being an error stamp without the black printing run. Errors stamps on postally used cover are very rare. There are also three of the second sculpture set. The overall postage amounted to 4.80 Dong. Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse. Another rare express mail letter sent from Hai Phong to Klewitz in February of 1980. It carries the 12 xu flower stamp in both inscription versions (blue and black) and other flower stamps. There are also four stamps of the sculpture series. The overall postage amounted to 4.80 Dong. Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse. Green Fulda custom cachet on the reverse.

Rare registered express mail letter sent to Klewitz in August of 1978. The letter carries half of the perforated set plus one of the 12 xu Sculpture stamps for an overall postage of 4.21 Dong. Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse. Green Fulda custom cachet on front.

Registered air mail letter sent to Klewitz in April of 1983. It features a number of the color variations and passer-shifts of the HCM Museum set. There are also two stamps of the Sculptures set. The overall postage amounted to 2.68 Dong (including the 1.38 Dong free frank). Note that the two 10 xu flower stamps also show a printing flaw that looks like diagonal lines across the stamp image and pale inscriptions. Spectacular mass franking of the Five Year Plan series on a large registered express mail envelope mailed to Klewitz in October of 1980. The letter carries a number of the perforation errors of the Five Year Plan stamps. There are also three of the Sculpture II stamps. The overall postage amounted to 6.14 Dong. Hand-made express mail label using a typewriter. Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse.

Rare registered express mail letter sent from Dien Bien Phu to Klewitz in April of 1980. It carries pairs of the set plus the rare 6 xu Flower stamp and parts of the Dien Bien Phu set for an overall postage of 4.81 Dong. Three Sculpture stamps on the reverse. Unusual hand-written R-label. Fulda arrival cancel the reverse. Fragment of the green Fulda custom cachet on front.
