Single franking of the 400D stamp on a dot estic air mail letter sent in December of 1999 from Chi Hoa to HCM City. HCM machine arrival cancel on the reverse. The letter must have exceeded the standard 20g of weight and hence a red “T” cachet was applied to indicate that postage was due upon delivery. There is no indication that the fee was ever collected.
Single franking of the 400D value on a local letters enter rom Cap The (small post office) to HCM City in May of 2,000.

The letter carries pairs of the United Nations Development Project “Fight against Poverty” set plus stamps from the Alpine Roses and Organization of French speaking Countries (tête-bêche) sets for an overall postage of 35,800D.
Registered air mail letter sent in September of 2000 from Saigon to Klewitz. The letter carries the perforated Water Puppet set plus stamps from the UN Development Program and Chinese Landscape sets for an overall postage of 48,000D. Incoming German Post registration receipt on the reverse.
Mixed franking on an international air mail letter featuring stamps from the Medical Plants, Poisonous Mushrooms, Hydro Power Stations, Traditional Boot Races, Ink Drawings and Communist Party sets paying an overall postage of 25,400D (including the red free frank for 18,000D). Th letter was sent from An Giang to Lithuania. Kaunas arrival cancel on the reverse.
