Unified Vietnam, Old Ships, June 30th, 1987, Michel Nr. 1787-1793; Seven stamps in nominals of 1D (two stamps) 2D, 3D (two stamps) and 5D (two stamps) were issued in perforation 12.5:12.75 and imperforate.
Stamps sold at Vietnamese post offices were sold without gum while stamps delivered by the official Vietnamese postal agency were gummed.

The letter carries half of the perforated Old Ship set plus stamps from the Laos (imperforate), Year of the Cat, Bronze Vessels and Reconstruction stamps for an overall postage of 363D (including the red free fall for 300D). Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare.
