Unified Vietnam, International Stamp Exhibition ESPANA 2000 “Domestic Birds”, September 28th, 2000, Michel Nr. 3093-3099, Block 127; Six stamps in nominals of 400D (three stamps), 5,000D, 7,000D and 10,000D were issued in perforation 13.5 and imperforate. Michel also reports the one of the 400D stamps also comes in a mixed perforation 12.75:13.25. There was also a souvenir-sheet with a 15,000D nominal that was produced in perforation 13.5:4 and imperforate.

Mixed franking featuring the 3,000D Le’ Dynasty stamp plus two of the 5,000D National Parks, 400D ESPANA 2000 (Perf.  12.75:13.25, yet unlisted perforation variety) and the 400D Tran Phu stamp paying an overall postage of 14,200D on an international air mail letter sent from HCM City to West Germany in June of 2004.

Mixed franking of the 3,000D UNESCO World Heritage My So’n value together with stamps from the International Stamp Exhibition ESPANA (stamp from the souvenir-sheet), 110 Birthday of Ho Chi Minh, Domestic Painters, and Mushrooms (imperforate) paying an overall postage of 37,200D on a registered international air mail letter sent from Saigon to Klewitz in March of 2004. Imperforate stamps and stamps from souvenir-sheet on postally used letters are very hard to find. Incoming German registration receipt on the reverse.

Mixed franking of the Bamboo Lanterns set together with stamps from the 100 Years Nobel Price, International Stamp Exhibition ESPANA, Dien Bien Phu and Liberation of South Vietnam sets. The letter also carries a military free frank that was not valid for international postage but was accepted by the postal clerk nevertheless. The 0.600kg imperforate Official Rice stamp from 1954 was technically still valid for postage but was improperly used on this private mail so was clearly philatelically motivated.
