Unified Vietnam, Asian Attractions II, April 10th, 1996, Michel Nr. 2772-2776; Five stamps in nominals of 400D, 2,000D, 3,000D, 4,000D and 10,000D were issued in perforation 13.

Single franking off the 400D Attractions II stamp on a domestic air mail letter sent in August of 1996 from Kantom to HCM City. Binh Thanh transit cancel on the reverse.

Registered air mail letter sent in July of 1996 as a mixed currency franking from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the entire Asian Attractions II set plus stamps from the Bird set from 1981; Postal Administration Center (imperforate), Charity Organization Golden Heart and Ministry of Post and Telecommunication sets. Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare.The Bird stamps were still denominated in old Dong. On September 14th, 1985 the Vietnamese Government conducted a devaluation which devalued the old Dong by 10:1. This meant old stamps used after that date were only worth one tenth of their face value.  The overall postage of the letter therefore amounted to 0.80 oD :10 = 0.08 nD plus stamps already in new Dong (20,850nD) for a total of 20,850.08D.

Registered air mail letter sent in July of 1997 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the perforated PACIFIC 97 set in pairs plus stamps from the Parachutists, Fallen Solider, Asian Attractions II and Universal Postal Union (stamp from souvenir-sheet) set for an overall postage of 53,600D. Stamps from souvenir-sheets on postally used cover are very rare.

Registered air mail letter sent in July of 1997 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the imperforate PACIFIC 97 set in pairs plus stamps from the Traditional Opera and  Asian Attractions II sets for an overall postage of 30,300D. Stamps from souvenir-sheets on postally used cover are very rare. Incoming German R-label on the reverse.
