Unified Vietnam, 15. Anniversary of the heavy Air Attacks on Hanoi, December 26th, 1987, Michel Nr. 1851-1852; Two stamps in nominals of 10D and 30D were issued in perforation 13.

These stamps were not officially released imperforate however a number of imperforate trial proofs has come to market. Below are pairs of them.

Registered air mail letter sent in February of 1988 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the perforated and imperforate Hanoi Air Attacks set plus stamps from the October Revolution, Old Ships, Water and Mountain Spirit and STOCKHOLMIA Bird sets for an overall postage of 1,221 (including the red free frank for 1,017D). Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare. Green Fulda custom cachet on front.

Registered air mail letter sent in May of 1988 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries pairs of the perforated and imperforate Hanoi Air Attacks set plus stamps from the Postal Union, Tourism and HAFNIA Airplanes (including the souvenir-sheet) sets for an overall postage of 1,512 (including the red free frank for 1,152D). Imperforate stamps and souvenir-sheets on postally used cover are very rare. Green Fulda custom cachet on front.

Registered air mail letter featuring mailed in January of 1988 from Ho Chi MInh CIty to Klewitz and featuring the imperforate Cham Culture stamp set and the perforated souvenir-sheet plus stamps from the 5 Billion People, Peace Movement and Hanoi Air Raid sets for an overall postage of 1,223D (including the red free frank for 975D). Registered air mail letter sent in March of 1988 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the perforated  Paracel and Spartly Island stamps plus stamps from the Communist Party, Butterflies, Old Motorcycles, and Hanoi Air Attack sets for an overall postage of 1,243D (including the red free frank for 1,072D). The 4D Communist Party stamps are the rare mixed perforation 12.5:11.0. Fragment of the green Fulda custom cachet on front.
