North Vietnam, Victory of the National Liberation Front during the Dry Season 1965-1966, March 1971. Michel Nr. 647; A single stamp with a 2 xu nominal was issued in perforation 11.0. Specialist distinguish between two printings. One that sprinted on thick paper and that has a rather rough perforation and one that was printed on thinner paper and that shows a better perforation.

These stamps were not officially released im-perforated but some im-perforated specimens have come to market.

Rare express mail letter featuring a block of four of the stamp on thick paper and sent to Klewitz in July of 1971. The overall postage of the letter amounted to 1.62 Dong which was tad above the required tariff of 1.60 Dong for a standard registered express mail letter to West Germany. 

Exceedingly rare package wrapper from May of 1975. Most package wrappers were simply thrown out after the package was opened and hence very few of them survive today. The package was sent via registered mail from Hanoi to a clinic in East Germany and it featured a mixed franking of the 20xu October revolution stamp, the 50xu Hai Thu’o’ng stamp, the 2xu NLF stamp and the 6xu Production and Defense stamp for an overall postage of 78xu. The standard letter rate to East Germany was 12xu and the registration fee 60xu, so this package must have been very light. Red propaganda cachet on front.

Mixed franking of two of the 2xu NLF stamps plus the 50xu Wild Animal set for an overall postage of 54xu on a air-mail letter to Sofia, Bulgaria.

Very rare registered express mail letter sent to Klewitz in May of 1975. The letter features the 2 xu stamp plus a number of im-perforated stamps of the fish set. Im-perforated stamps on postally used cover are very rare. The overall postage on the letter amounted to 2.60 Dong which is above the Tariff of 2.10 Dong, but th heavier may have been heavier than the standard 20 grams.

Very rare registered express mail letter sent to Klewitz in May of 1975. The letter features two of the 2 xu value of the set plus a number of the im-perforated chicken set from 1968. Im-perforated stamps on postally used cover are very rare. The overall postage amounted to 2.60 Dong which was higher than the standard 20 gram registered express mail letter to West Germany (Tariff of 2.10) but the letter may have been heavier than the standard.

Rare registered express mail letter sent to Klewitz in May of 1975 featuring the 2 xu value plus a host of other NVN stamps. Overall postage of 2.90 Dong.

Mixed franking of the 50xu Bird stamps together with the 40xu Aircraft Shot Down and 2xu NLF stamps for an overall postage of 92xu on an air-mail letter sent to Hungary in December of 1973.

Registered letter sent from Quan 5 (Ho Chi Minh City) to Klewitz in January of 1982. The letter carries Michel Nr. 1188 in two different color tones plus some the 1 xu NLF stamp for an overall postage of 8.20 Dong. Green Fulda custom cachet on front.

Air Mail letter sent in May of ? to a technical school in Ilemnau, East Germany. The letter is franked with one 50xu Home and People plus one 2 xu National Liberation Front stamp for an overall postage of 52xu.
