North Vietnam, Old Buildings and Pagodas, November 15th, 1968, Michel Nr. 550-555; Six stamps with nominals of 12 xu (two stamps), 20 xu, 30 xu, 40 xu and 50 xu were issued perforated 12.0 and imperforate.

Here is the mint perforated set.

Here is the mint imperforate set:

Mixed franking of the 50 xu Pagoda stamp plus two 12 xu Production and Struggle stamps paying an overall postage of 74 xu on an international letter sent from Hai Phong to Switzerland in May of 1969. East Berlin transit cancel on the reverse.

Here is a very rare express mail letter featuring the entire im-perforated set sent to Klewitz in June of 1968.  It also carries six im-perfroated stamps of the 1962 folk dance series. Im-perforated stamps on postally used cover are very rare. The overall postage of the letter amounted to 2.36 Dong which was most likely in excess of the required tariff of 1.00 for a standard 20 gram express mail letter to West Germany. The initial intention was to send this letter registered (Tariff of 1.60 Dong). Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse.

Very rare letter sen to Klewitz in March of 1976. It carries the im-perforated souvenir sheet plus a range of im-perforated other NVN stamps. Souvenir sheets and im-perforated stamps postally used cover are very rare. The overall postage of the letter amounted to 3.58 Dong which appears to be in excess of the required tariff (1.50 Dong for a standard 20 gram express mail letter).
