North Vietnam, Animals of the Wild, March 20th, 1976, Michel Nr. 843-850; Eight stamps with nominals of 12 xu (two stamps), 20 xu, 30 xu, 40 xu, 50 xu, 60 xu and 1 Dong were issued perforated 12.0 ans imperforate.

International air mail letter sent from Bao Loc to San Antonio Texas in June of 1981. The letter carries the 20xu Year of the Child stamp plus six of the 50 xu Wild Animal stamps paying an overall postage of 3.20D.

Philatelic letter featuring the entire perforated set sent in November of 1981 to Paris, France.

Rare multiple franking of the 50xu value paying the 1 Dong postage for the standard international letter rate in force as of December 1st, 1976.

Very rare express mail letter to Klewitz in June of 1976. It features half of the im-perforated animals in the wild set plus a number of im-perforated medicinal plant set from 1975. Im-perforated stamps postally used cover are very rare. The overall  postage of the letter amounted to 3.14 Dollar which appears to be in excess of the required tariff (1.50 Dong).

Mixed franking of the 12xu and 50xu Wild Animal stamps together with the 1 Dong Dragon Fly and Air Defense stamps for an overall postage of 2.62 Dong on an air-mail letter sent in 1977 to Paris, France.

Mixed franking of the 20xu and 40xu Fruits stamps together with the 1D Dragon Fly and Wild Animal stamps for an overall postage of 2.60D on an air mail letter from Ho Chi Minh City to Paris, France in September of 1977.

Another very rare registered letter mailed in August of 1977 from Hanoi to Essen, West Germany featuring the entire im-perforated Tropical Fruit set plus a range of other NVN stamps (including the 50xu Animals of the Wild set) from the mid 1970’s for an overall postage of 3.80D. Im-perforated stamps on postally used cover are very rare.

Rare express mail letter sent to Klewitz in January of 1977. It carries a block of four of the Red Cross stamp and animals of the wild stamps for an overall postage of 2.08 Dong. This is slightly above the required postage of 2 Dong (1 Dong standard letter fee plus  Dong Express Mail fee). Berlin transit and Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse.

Registered letter sent to Klewitz in February of 1982. It carries a number of the 10 xu flower stamps in different color variations. There are also two of the 50 xu animals of the wild stamps. The overall postage amounted to 11 Dong. Unusual red cancel. Green Fulda custom cachet on front.
