Here is the mint stamp. Specialist distinguish between normal (left stamp) and rough perforation (right stamp):

This stamp was not officially released imperforate however a small number of imperforate trial proofs have come to market. Here is an imperforate pair.

So called wt ink offs-sets or “color kisses” do occur frequently on this issue. Here is one of the black color:

Rare single franking on a local letter (full contents preserved) sent from Thanh Hoa to Saigon in January of 1976. HCM City arrival cancels on the reverse.

Very rare express mail letter sent to Klewitz in December,ber of 1975. It features the 25 Years PRC stamp plus some im-perforated stamps from the sculpture set. Im-perforated stamps on postally used cover are very rare. The over-all postage amounted to 3.66 Dong which appears to be in excess of the required tariff of 1.50 Dong for a standard 20 gram express mail letter to West Germany.

Rare express mail letter sent to Klewitz in March of 1976. The letter carries a 12 xu PRC stamp. The overall postage of the letter amounted to 3.28 Dong which makes it most likely over-franked. The required postage for a standard 20 gram express mail letter to West Germany was only 1.50 Dong.

Very rare registered express mail letter sent to Klewitz in March of 1977. The letter carries two of the 12 xu China stamp  plus other NVN stamps for an overall postage of 1.66 Dong. The letter also carries some im-perforated stamps of the reptile set. Im-perforated stamps on postally used cover are very rare.
