Here is a very rare express mail letter (ex Klewitz) that features the entire im-perforated. Im-perforated stamps on postally used cover are very rare. The letter also shows a single of the 1967 military free frank (without nominal but valued at 12 xu) which is unusual as the stamp was not valid on international mail. Overall the postage featured 1.38 of valid postage was was above the required tariff of 1.00 Dong for a standard express mail letter to West Germany. Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse.
Mixed franking of the 20 xu Fish stamp together with the 5 xu Army Games and 50 xu Wild Animal stamp paying an overall postage of 75 xu on an international air mail letter sent from Hai Phong to Switzerland.
Mixed franking of the 50 xu Fish value plus the 20 xu Flowers and 4 xu Agricultural Product stamps paying an overall postage of 74 xu on an air mail letter sent from Hanoi to Switzerland in January of 1969.
Rare registered letter sent from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz in October of 1980. It carries a variety of NVN stamps including a strip of four 10 xu flower stamps that show significant color variations.It also features the 50 xi fish stamp. It also accrues a 50 xu National Liberation stamp issued in 1971. NFL stamps were not valid in North Vietnam as the currency used by the Viet Cong in the South was not compatible with the currency used in the North. The stamp was nevertheless accepted by the postal clerk. Without the NLF stamp the postage amounted to 2.50 Dong. Green Fulda custom cachet on front.
International letter sent in December of 1976 from HCM City to Hong Kong featuring three of the 50 xu Fish stamps plus one of the 12 xu Final Victory stamp paying an overall postage of 1.62D.
