Unified Vietnam, SOS Children Village, December 22nd, 1992, Michel Nr. 2487-2488; Two stamp with nominals of 200D and 5,000D were issued in perforation and imperforate. There are questions about the actual issuance date of this set. Klewitz reports it to be in November of 1992 (but dos not provide a concrete date). Also there is a letter from the Klewitz collection that was mailed on December 10th, 1992 (see below) twelve days prior to the date reported by Michel. So it is likely that the Michel date is incorrect.

Registered air mail letter sent on December 10th, 1992 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the perforated Children Village set plus stamps from the Discovery of America II (souvenir-sheet) and Welfare Organization Golden Heart sets for an overall postage of 19,400D.
Registered air mail letter sent on January 15th, 1993 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the perforated and imperforate Children Village set plus stamps from the Discovery of America II (souvenir-sheet), Pioneer Organization (imperforate), Rights of Children (imperforate) and Catastrophe Prevention sets for an overall postage of 26,400D. Imperforate stamps and souvenir-sheets on postally used cover are very rare.
