Saltwater Crabs

Unified Vietnam, Saltwater Crabs, July 30th, 1993, Michel Nr. 2549-2554; Six stamps in nominals of 400D, 800D, 1,000D, 2,000D, 5,000D and 10,000D were issued in perforation 13 and imperforate. There are questions about the actual issuance date of this set. Klewitz reports it to be May 4th, 1993 but does not offer any concrete evidence to back up his claim.

The letter carries the imperforate World Cup USA II souvenir-sheet plus stamps from the Ocean Crab, Seasonal Flowers and Stamp Exhibition PHILAKOREA 94 sets for an overall postage of 33,900D (including the red free frank for 3,900D). Imperforate stamps and souvenir-sheets on postally used cover are very rare.

Rare registered express air mail letter sent in February of 1995 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the Flowers of the Season set plus stamps from the International Stamp Exhibition POLSKA, Saltwater Crabs and Day the Stamp sets for an overall postage of 38,400D. Fulda arrival stamps on the reverse.

Rare registered express air mail letter sent in April of 1995 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the entire Bird set plus stamps from the Saltwater Crab set for an overall postage of 32,800D (including the red free frank for 7,400D). Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse.
