Mixed franking of only Gold Fish stamps a registered letter sent from Ho Chi Minh City to well known philatelist Theo Klewitz in West Germany in August of 1978. Together with the red free frank for 3.88D the overall postage amounted 5.50D. The registration number was added by handwriting in red ink and an unusual long and stamp “15250 TP HOCHIMINH”. Mixed franking of the 20 xu Gold Fish stamp together with two 40 xu Dragon Fly stamps paying an overall postage of 1 Dong on an international air mail letter sent from Hai Phong to Switzerland in 1978.
Regional letter sent from Ho Chi Minh City to Vientane in Laos in February of 1979 paying 52 xu air mail postage. The standard letter rate to laos at the time was 41 xu so the weight of this letter probably exceeded the standard 20 gram weight level.

It carries a number of the flower stamps including two fo the 10 xu stamps that show an up-side down double print of the yellow color. Errors stamps on postally used cover are very rare. There are also two of the 30 xu gold fish stamps. There are also two of the black inscription variety of the 12 xu stamp. The overall postage amounted to 7.90 Dong. Another very rare air mail letter mailed from Ho Chi Minh City to Hong Kong in July of 1978. The letter carries the Children error stamp without the yellow/mustard printing run. Errors stamps on postally used cover are very rare. There is also a 30 xu Gold Fish stamp. The overall postage amounted to 1.60 Dong.
Registered letter sent to Klewitz in August of 1981. It carries four blocks of four of the 12 xu value plus three of the 30 xu Gold Fish stamps. The left and right most block are of the first printing while the middle blocks of four are the second printing. The overall postage of the letter amounted to 8.21 Dong.
