Unified Vietnam, Day the Stamp, August 15th, 1998, Michel Nr. 2937; A single stamp with a 400D nominal and in perforation 13.25:13 were issued. The stamps were printed in Tête-bêche fashion in small sheets of 25 stamps with each row alternating the stamp’s orientation.

Single franking on a local letter sent from Can Tho to HCM City in November of 1998. HCM City machine arrival cancel on the reverse.

International air mail letter sent in December of 1999 from Bung Ring (small post office) to France and featuring a pair of the 5,000D Kite stamps plus one 400D Day the Stamp issue paying an overall postage of 10,400D.

Registered air mail letter sent in October of 1998 from Saigon to Klewitz. The letter carries the Tête-bêche pair of the Alexander Bell stamps plus stamps from the Rowland Hill, Traditional Clothing (imperforate) and Domestic Painter sets paying an overall postage of 27,800D. Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare. Incoming German registration receipt on the reverse.
