Unified Vietnam, Day of the Stamp, August 15th, 1996, Michel Nr. 2802; A single stamp in a 400D nominal was issued in perforation 13:13.25

The stamp depicts a 1 Hao stamp that was issued in 1946 during the brief time the Viet Minh were in control of Vietnam after the defeat of the Japanese and while the French soldiers were still incarcerated. Here is a mint pair of the original stamp.

The letter carries the carries a pair of the Huynh Thuc with an attached empty field in stamp size plus stamps from the Parachutists, Day the Stamp, Chess (stamp from the souvenir-sheet), Orchids, Fallen Solider and Olympic Summer Games II sets for an overall postage of  29,000D.
