Single franking of the 400D value on a ,local letter sent from Nguyen Khoai (small post office) to HCM City in September of 2001. The 400D stamp was apparently judged to be insufficient postage and hence a red “T” stamp (postage due) was applied in front. Saigon arrival cancel on the reverse.
Registered air mail letter sent in October of 1997 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries a pair of the ASEAN stamp plus stamps from the ASEAN stamp from 1995, Opera Masks, Gold Fish (stamp from the souvenir-sheet), Women Clothing and Orchid sets for an overall postage of 29,600D. Stamps from souvenir-sheets on postally used cover are very rare. Incoming registered letter receipt by the German Post on the reverse.
Mixed franking of the Non-Smoking stamp together with stamps from the Coral Fish, ASEAN and Year of the Tiger sets paying an overall postage of 40,000D on a registered air mail letter sent from Saigon to Klewitz in September of 2001. Incoming German registration receipt on the reverse.
