Single franking of the 400D value on a local letter sent in December of 1995 from Tai HIep (small post office) to HCM City. Rach Gia transit and HCM City machine arrival cancel on the reverse.

Single franking of the 400D value sent in February of 1995 from An Giang to Ca Mau. Ca Mau machine arrival cancel on the reverse.

Multiple franking of the 400D value, most likely representing the second weight level and sent in August of 1995 from Quan 5 to HCM City. HCM City machine arrival cancel on the reverse.

Mixed franking featuring the entire set plus a 19,100D free frank paying an overall postage of 25,900D on an international air mail letter sent from Thai Son to Lithuania. Vilnius arrival cancel on the reverse.

Registered air mail letter sent as a mixed currency franking in November of 1995 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the 1995 Observances set plus stamps from the Alpine Roses and the 1977 Orchid set. The Orchid set was still denominated in old Dong. The Vietnamese Government conducted a devaluation of the Dong on September 14th, 1985. This meant that all stamps issued prior to this date were only worth one tenth at the time of mailing. The overall postage hence amounted to  0.18 oD = 0.02 nD. plus the stamps in new Dong (19,600 nD)  for 19,600.02nD.

Registered air mail lettre sent in November of 1996 from Ho Chi Minh Ciyt to Klewitz. The letter carries a block of four of the day of the Stamp stamp plus stamps from the Red Cross, 1995 Observances, Traditional Bridge Building and Domestic Painter sets for an overall postage of 33,100D.

Registered air mail letter sent in March of 1997 from Ho Chi Minh Ciyt to Klewitz. The letter carries the Viet Minh Insurrection stamps plus stamps from the 1995 Observances, Orchids  and Peoples Army sets for an overall postage of 26,600D.

Registered air mail letter sent in April of 1997 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the Party Decision stamp in tête-bêche fashion plus stamps from the 1995 Remembrances, Chess (stamp from souvenir-sheet), Ending of WW 2 and Parachutists for an overall postage of 26,600D. Stamps from souvenir-sheets on postally used cover are very rare.

Rare registered express air mail letter sent in November of 1997 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the perforated and imperforate Hibiscus sheetlet plus stamps from the Vietnamese Children, Orchids and 1995 Remembrances sets for an overall postage of 72,000D. Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare. Frankfurt/Main transit wave cancel on the reverse. Incoming German Post registration receipt on the reverse.

Registered air mail letter sent in June of 1998 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the 300 Years Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City souvenir-sheet plus the VIETSTAMPEX vignette and stamps from the Ceramics (imperforate) , Domestic Pheasants (imperforate souvenir-sheet) , Lilies and 1995 Remembrances sets for an overall postage of 44,550D (including the red free frank for 8,400D). Imperforate stamps and souvenir-sheets on postally used cover are very rare. Incoming German Post registration receipt on the reverse.

Registered air mail letter sent in March of 2000 from Saigon to Klewitz. The letter carries the 70 Years Communist Party of Vietnam set plus stamps from the Fruits (Perf. 13.5:13.25), Lilies and 1995 Remembrance sets for an overall postage of 43,000D (including the red free frank for 9,000D). Orange German Post route coding on front. Incoming German Post registration receipt on the reverse.

Mixed franking of the imperforate Cacti set together with stamps from the Diesel Locomotives (imperforate), Mushrooms, Anniversaries, World Stamp EXPO 2000 and Vietnam in the 20th Century sets paying an overall postage of 37,800D on a registered air mail letter sent from Saigon to Klewitz in June of 2002. Imperforate stamps on postally used letters are very hard to find. Incoming German registration receipt on the reverse.
