These stamps were not officially released imperforate, however, a small number of imperforate trial proofs have come to market. Here is the imperforate set in matching top sheet margins.

A small number of color trials were produced for the postal authority to decide which color would work best for this particular issue:

Mixed franking of the 50c Sport values (2) together with stamps from the Anti Tuberculosis Fund and Red Cross sets paying an overall postage of 10D on an international air mail letter sent from Dalat to West Germany in February, 1966.

Mixed franking of the 1.50D WHO stamp together with stamps from the Sports, Third Anniversary of the Revolution and Day of Wandering Soul sets paying an overall postage of 4D on an international  letter front sent from Saigon to Martinique in December of 1966. Martinique is a rare destination.

Rare multiple franking of the 50c value (2) paying an overall postage of 1D on a domestic letter (fulcontents preserved) sent by a member of the military (KBC 3347, a Navy unit situated in Nha Trang) to Cholon in August of 1967. Unusual use of a Navy Department free frank envelope as a domestic letter.

Mixed franking of the 0.50C University Education and 1D Sports stamps paying the 50% discounted military rate of 1.50D on a domestic letter sent in August of 1968 by a member of the military (KBC 4100/Military Schooling Thu Doc) to a civilian in Saigon. Cancelled with the “mute” Quan Buu military cancel. Unusual orange circular KBC cachet on front that shows a lighted torch.

Folded letter featuring the 50C International Cooperation and 1P Sports stamps paying the 50% discounted military tariff of 1.50P sent in April of 1966 by a member of the military (KBC 3338/Headquarters Battalion-Marine Division) to a civilian in Saigon.

Rare multiple franking of the 1D Sport stamps (3) paying an overall postage of 3D on a domestic letter mailed within Saigon in August of 1966.

Mixed franking of the 1D Sport stamp together with the 2D Anti Malaria stamp paying an overall postage of 3D on a domestic letter sent from Cholon to Saigon in August of 1967.

Mixed franking of the 1D Sport and 3D The legendary Emperor Hùng Vương stamp paying an overall postage of 4D on a domestic letter sent from Duc Trong to Saigon i February of 1966. Rare octagonal rural cancel. Dalat arrival cancel on there reverse.

Single franking of the 1.50D value on a letter sent by a member of the military (KBC 3318/Naval Training Center & Commissioned Officer School / Ships reporting to Naval HQ located in Nha Trang) to a civilian in Kien Hoa. Circular naval KBC cachet on front.

Single franking of the 1.50D value on a domestic air mail letter (full contents preserved) sent by a civilian in Cay Lay to a member of the military (KBC 4721/Air Force Training Center in Nha Trang).  Black propaganda cachet on front “Warmly respond to the Constitutional Congress Election Day September 11th, 1966”. Mytho transit and “mute” Quan BUU military arrival cancel on the reverse.

Single franking of the 1.50D value on a letter sent in March of 1967 by a member of the military (KBC 6030/Popular Forces Training Center in Phu Cat) to a civilian in Saigon. Rare oval naval KBC cachet on front. Saigon machine arrival cancel on the reverse.

Single franking of the 1.50D value on a letter sent in August of 1969 by a member of the military (KBC 4027/Military Training School in Dalat) to a civilian in Saigon. Canceled with the “mute” Quan Buu military cancel. Black circular KBC cachet on front.

Mixed franking of the 20D Boy Scout stamps (3) together with the 6D Red Cross and 1.50D Sports stamp paying an overall postage of 67.50D on a registered international air mail letter sent from Saigon to the United States in June of 1966.

Single franking of the 10D value on a letter sent by members of the New Zealand Armed Forces to Austria in 1969.
