South Vietnam, Culturally Historical Sites , January 5th, 1975, Michel Nr. SVN 579-581; Three stamps in nominals of 25D (Q:4,000,000), 30D (Q:3,000,000) and 60D (Q:1,000,000) were issued in perforation 14:13.5.

Single franking of the 25D value on a domestic air mail letter (full contents preserved) sent from Saigon Cholon to Can Tho on April 17th, 1975. This was only thirteen days prior to the Fall of Saigon.

Mixed franking of the 30D stamp together with  stamps from the Interpol, Development Conference and Orchid sets paying an overall postage of 1`35D on an international air mail letter sent from Hue on March 3rd, 1975 to France.

Here is the official order from the Commander in Chief of the Pacific Forces (CINPAC) that informs about the closure of the U.S. Embassy in Saigon. The flash notice is dated April 26th, 1975 which is four days prior to the final evacuation.

 Very rare registered express air mail letter carrying two full booklet strips of the 3D Mobile Post Office stamps plus stamps from the Allied Fighters, Historical Sites, 100 Years UPU, Ocean Fish and Development Aid sets paying an overall postage of 780D. Fulda arrival cancel on front. The editor has never seen another letter that carries a full booklet as postage. Ex Klewitz.

Mixed franking of the 30D Historical Sites and 100D Wounded Soldier stamp paying an overall postage of 130D on an international air mail letter sent from Saigon to Switzerland in Januar of 1975.

Mixed franking of the 100D New Year, 30D Historical Sites and 100D Wounded Soldier stamps paying an overall postage of 230D on an international air mail letter sent from Saigon two France in February of 1975.

Below is the fabled cover (ex Klewitz) that carries to postal used samples of the 10D Nguyen Van Thieu stamps (the only one known to carry two postally used copies of these stamps) and stamps from the Traditional Vietnamese Theater, Victory at Quang Tri, New Year, Cultural Places, National Development Conference sets plus the various overprinted stamps for an overall postage of 752D on a very rare registered express mail letter sent from Saigon to West Germany in March of 1975.
