North Vietnam, Tropical Fruits, October 31st, 1964, Michel Nr. 334-338; Five values with the nominals of 12 xu (three stamps), 20 xu and 50 xu were released perforated (11.5) and imperforate.

Late usage rare single franking of the 50xu Tropical Fruit value on a homemade adversaty cover mailed to Vinh Long. The 50xu rate in 1982 probably represented the standard domestic letter rate.

Rare letter sent to Klewitz in West Germany in December of 1964. It features the entire imperforate set of the tropical fruit series. Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare. The letter has an overall franking of 1.12 Dong. This was slightly above the required rate for a registered standard letter to Wes Germany (Tariff 1.10 Dong).

Mixed ranking of the 50 xu Fruit value together with the 20 xu Hydrogen Bomb stamp paying an overall postage of 70 xu on an international air mail letter sent from Ha Phong to Switzerland in December of 1968. East Berlin transit cancel on the reverse.

Another very rare registered letter mailed in August of 1977 from Hanoi to Essen, West Germany featuring the entire imperforate Tropical Fruit set plus a range of other NVN stamps from the mid 1970’s for an overall postage of 3.80D. Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare.
