North Vietnam, Reptiles, November 25th, 1975, Michel Nr. 825-832; Eight stamps with the nominals of 12 xu (two stamps), 20 xu, 30 xu, 40 xu, 50 xu, 60 xu, and 1 Dong were issued perforated 11.0 and im-perforated.

Here is a perforation error on the 1D stamp. This pair is vertically imperforate in-between the stamps and imperforate at the bottom margin.

Rare multiple franking of the 50 xu Reptiles stamps (3) paying an overall postage of 1.50D on an international air mail letter sent in November of 1975 from Hai Phong to Switzerland.

Mixed franking of a pair of the 60xu Reptiles value together with the 1D Year of the Child stamp paying an overall postage of 2.20 on a letter sent in March of 1982 to Czechoslovakia.

Very rare express mail letter mailed to Klewitz in March of 1976. The letter carried half of the im-perforated set. Im-perforated stamps on postally used cover are very rare. The overall postage of the letter amounted to 2.92 Dong which may have been in excess of the required tariff for a standard 20 gram express mail letter to West Germany (Tariff of 1.50 Dong). Frankfurt transit and Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse.

Very rare express mail letter mailed to Klewitz in March of 1976. The letter carried the other half of the im-perforated set. Im-perforated stamps on postally used cover are very rare. The overall postage of the letter amounted to 2.78Dong which may have been in excess of the required tariff for a standard 20 gram express mail letter to West Germany (Tariff of 1.50 Dong). Frankfurt transit and Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse.

Mixed franking of the 50xu and 1 Dong Dragon Fly stamp together with the 20xu Sea Creatures and 10xu Communist Party stamp paying an overall postage of 1.80D on an air-mail letter sent to Paris, France in 1977.

Very rare registered express mail letter sent to Klewitz in March of 1977. The letter carries a mix of NVN stamps for an overall postage of 1.66 Dong. The letter also carries some im-perforated stamps of the reptile set. Im-perforated stamps on postally used cover are very rare.

Another very rare registered express mail letter sent from Hai Phong to Klewitz in June of 1979. It features the other half of the im-perforated prehistoric animal set plus the 50 xu stamp from the reptile set for an overall postage of 4.80 Dong.  Im-perforate stamps on postally used cove are very rare. Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse.

Spectacular mass franking of the Five Year Plan series on a large registered express mail envelope mailed to Klewitz in October of 1980. The letter carries a number of the perforation errors of the Five Year Plan stamps. There is also one of the 12 xu Reptile stamps. The overall postage amounted to 6.14 Dong. Hand-made express mail label using a typewriter. Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse.
