North Vietnam, Irrigation, August 24th, 1964, Michel Nr. 327; A single stamp with the nominal of 12 xu was issued. It was perforated 11.0.

Postally used stamp. Postally used stamps are at least ten times rarer than cancelled to order stamps.

Rare single franking of the stamp on a letter to Czechoslovakia paying the correct standard letter rate of 12xu.

Letter mailed to Klewitz in West Germany with a block of four of the stamp. The overall postage amounted to 54 xu which was slightly above the required standard letter tariff of 50 xu.
