North Vietnam, Important Plants for Textile Production, August 15th, 1974, Michel Nr. 771-773; Three stamps in the nominals of 12 xu (two stamps) and 30 xu were issued in perforation 11.0.

These stamps were not officially released im-perforated, however a handful of imperforate trial prints have come to market. Note the printer guiding marks surrounding the stamps.

Rare single franking of the red/green stamp from Nho Quam to Thanh Hoa of February, 1975. The envelope features an interesting decal that shows a gathering in front of the Kham Lai Palace in Hanoi during the August Revolution in 1945. The decal is based on a historical picture (see below). The postage is in line with the 1975 postal tariff.

Single franking of the Capsularis stamp on a domestic letter (full contents preserved) sent from Hau Giang to a member of the military (note the Hom Thu Nr. in the address line) in April of 1976. Red propaganda cachet on front. Kian An and Quang Tri transit cancels on the reverse.

Rare local mailing from August, 1975 with a single 12 xu stamp routed from Thai Binh to Saigon. Shortly after the fall (April 30th, 1975) the city name Saigon was still being used.Later on this was replaced by Ho Chi Minh City.

Rare single franking of the brown 12xu value on a letter sent by a member of the North Vietnamese Military to Jena, East Germany in January of 1975.

Rare local letter featuring the 12xu stamp  on a letter (full contents preserved) sent from Nam Ha to Saigon shortly after the end of the war (May, 1975).

Rare multiple franking of the 30xu value sent on an air-mail letter to East Germany in July of 1979.

Mixed franking of the 12 xu and 30 xu (3) Textile Plant stamps paying an overall postage of 1.02D on an international air mail letter sent from Hai Phong to Switzerland in May of 1975.

Very rare express mail letter sent to Klewitz in May of 1976. It carries half of the im-perforated butterfly set plus perforated the medical plant set on the reverse. Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare. The overall postage amounted to 2.10 Dong which appears to be in excess of the required tariff (1.50 Dong) for a standard 20 gram express mail letter to West Germany. Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse.

Mixed franking of the entire Textile Plant and Women Movement sets on a philatelic air-mail letter sen to Hong Kong.

Mixed franking of the rarely used 6xu stamp together with a range of other NVN stamps (including the 30xu Textile Plant stamp) for an overall postage of 1.88D on an air-mail letter sent from Hanoi to France in 1975.

Another late usage of the souvenir sheet on a mixed franking registered air mail letter sent from Hanoi to West Germany in February of 1978. Together with the other range of NVN stamps (including two of the Textile Plant stamps) the overall postage amounted to 4.40D.

Postcard sent in December of 1978 to Budapest, Hungary paying 80xu made up of the 50xu Total Liberation stamp plus the 30xu Plant stamp.

Mixed franking of three of the 30xu Textile Plant stamps together with the 10xu Day the Child stamp paying the 1Dong postage on a homemade letter to East Germany in May of 1979.

Mixed franking of the brown 12xu Textile Plant stamp together with other NVN stamps paying a 61xu postage on a printed matter mailing sent out by Radio “The Voice of Vietnam” in January of 1975. The mailing contained the program schedule of the station for Western listeners.
