Here is the mint stamp. Please note that due to the intense red color “color offsets” or so called “color kisses” do occur frequently on this issue. They do not change a stamps value.

These stamps were not officially released im-perforated however, a handful of im-perforated trial proofs have come to market. Rare.

Here is the stamp canceled to order:

Rare single franking of the stamp. The sender used a long alpha-numerical code similar as a Hom Thu number as address which indicates that the sender may be part of the military. The letter was sent to a fellow Vietnamese who was located in the Czechoslovakia, a friendly  socialist country for which the standard domestic letter rate of 12 xu also applied as postage.
