North Vietnam, 30 Years Liberation of Hungary, August 30th, 1975, Michel Nr. 820; A single stamp with a 12 xu nominal and perforation 11.0 was issued.

Very rare local letter featuring  single franking of the Hungary stamp mailed from Cantho to Ho Chi Minh City. It was cancelled with one of the old hexagonal rural cancels that were in use in South Vietnam and that in some cases were continued to be used after reunification.

Another rare local letter sent in October of 1976 from Hiep Hoa (small post office) to Gia Dinh.

Rare local letter with a single franking of the 12xu stamp sent from Hanoi to Vinh Phu in March of 1977. The full contents of the letter s preserved.

Rare express mail letter sent to Klewitz in March of 1976. The letter carries a block of four of the Hungarian stamp. The overall postage of the letter amounted to 3.28 Dong which makes it most likely over-franked. The required postage for a standard 20 gram express mail letter to West Germany was only 1.50 Dong.
