Little is known about the Indochinese machine free franks. The International Postage Meter Stamp Catalogue list free franks for Vietnam but not forIndochina. So, it is not clear to the editor when the machines were first used in Indochina

Here is a rare proof strike of the Satas C machine that was later on also used in the State of Vietnam.
