Indochina, Allegory of Peace with new value Overprint, 1903, Michel Nr. IND 22-23; The 15C Allegory of Peace stamp in lilac-grey was overprinted with a new value of 5C and the 25C blue/red stamp was overprinted with a new value of 15C.

Dangerous Fornier forgeries (in which both the basic stamps and the overprint are forged) do exist. Below are two mint strips of four (no gum) of the forgeries. Interestingly enough the forgeries are today rarer than the original stamps!
