Indochina, 75 Years United Postal Union, July 4th, 1949, Michel Nr. IND 360; A single stamp with a 3P nominal and in perforation 13 was issued.

This stamp was not officially released imperforate, however, a small number of imperforate trial proofs have come to market. Here is a mint never hinged imperforate stamp from the top right sheet margin.

International letter featuring the 3P UPU stamp together with stamps from the Domestic Scences II stamps paying an overall postage of 3.40P and sent from Saigon to Austria in December of 1949. The letter was still subject to censorship in Vienna as indicated by the censor tape and blue censor cachet.
