North Vietnam, Color Wood Prints, November 25th, 1971, Michel Nr. 675-680, Block 11; Six stamps with nominals of 12 xu (three stamps), 40 xu, 50 xu and 1 Dong were issued perforated 12.0 and imperforate. A souvenir sheet with a 1 Dong nominal was only issued imperforate.

Very rare registered express mail letter mailed to Klewitz featuring half of the im-perforated set plus the imperfroate 40 xu value of the chicken set. Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare. The overall franking amounted to 1.64 which was a tad above the required tariff of 1.60 Dong. Hannover transit and Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse.

Mixed franking of the 40 xu Wood Cut stamp together with the 50 xu Engels and 5 xu Army Games stamps paying an overall postage if 75 xu on an international air mail letters ent from Hai Phong to Switzerland.
Rare express mail letter sent to Klewitz in in September of 1975. The letter featured three of the sculpture set. The letter also features a number of im-perforated stamps including one of the 12 xu stamps from the set. Im-perforated stamps postally used cover are very rare. The overall postage amounted to 3.30 Dong which appears to be high as compared to a standard express mail letter to West Germany (Tariff of 1.50). Fulda arrival cancel in front and Hannover arrival cancel on the reverse.

Virtually all souvenir-sheets on the market are in mint condition. Here is there only lose souvenir-sheet the editor has ever seen that carries a standard date canceler. It was cancelled in August of 1973 in Hanoi.

Souvenir sheets and imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare. The overall franking amounted to 1.84 which appears to be in line with the required tariff for such a large envelope.
