South Vietnam, New Year, January 26th, 1975, Michel Nr. SVN 584-586; Three stamps in nominals of 20D (Q:4,000,000), 30D (Q:2,000,000) and 100D (Q:1,000,000) were issued in perforation 14:13.75. Printing quantities, according to the official stamp bulletin, were 4,000,000, 3,000,000 and 1,000,000.

Mixed franking of the 100D New Year stamp plus two 40D stamps from the Wax Soldier set paying an overall postage of 180D on an international air mail letter sent on April 3rd, 1975 from Phu Cuong to France. That was just 27 days prior to the fall of Saigon.
