Mixed franking of the 3D Victory at Quang Tri and 2D Civil Self Defense stamps paying an overall postage of 5D (50% discounted military rate) on a letter sent by a member of the military (KBC6627/River Patrol Group in Kien Tuong). Cancelled with the “mute” Quan Buu military cancel. Black circular KBC cachet on front.
Single franking of the 10D stamp on a philatelic domestic letter sent from My Tho to a Major in Saigon in May of 1973.
Multiple franking of the 10D value (3) paying an overall postage of 30D on a domestic registered letter sent by a member of the military (KBC 6534/ARVN 3rd Infantry Division in Da Nang) to an individual located in Saigon. The red BAO Dam cachet on both sides stands for “Secured-Warranted” which was the military equivalent of registration. Da Nang transit and Saigon machine arrival cancel on the reverse. Black circular KBC cachet on front.
Mixed franking of the Victory at Quang Tri set together with stamps rom the Calligraphy set paying an overall postage of 189D on a registered international air mail letter sent from Da Lat to West Germany in June of 1973. Black propaganda cachet on the reverse. Ex Klewitz.
Mixed franking of the 2D Self Defense stamps (2) together with two 3D Quang Tri Victory stamps paying an overall postage of 10D on a domestic letter sent from Da Lat to Saigon July, 1973.
Rare multiple franking of the 3D Quang Tai stamp (5) paying an overall postage of 15D on a domestic letter sent in January of 1974 from a unknown ARVN prison camp located in Tam Ky to a civilian in Gia Dinh. The cover carries a red boxed cachet that reads “Training Center-Censured”. This cachet is the only known example known to the editor.
