Hibiscus

Unified Vietnam, Hibiscus, August 1st, 1997, Michel Nr. 2869-2872; Four stamps in nominals of 1,000D, 3,000D, 5,000D and 9,000D were printed together in a small sheetlet. The sheetlet was produced in perforation 13.25:13 and imperforate.

Rare registered express air mail letter sent in November of 1997 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the perforated and imperforate Hibiscus sheetlet plus stamps from the Vietnamese Children, Orchids and 1995 Remembrances sets for an overall postage of 72,000D. The letter features the entire Moth set plus the Gold Fish stamp from the souvenir-sheet plus the imperforate Hibiscus stamps for an overall postage of 32,800D.
