Unified Vietnam, Chinese New Year “Year of the Rooster”, January 20th, 1993, Michel Nr. 2502-2503; Two stamps with nominals of 200D and 5,000D were issued in perforation 13 and imperforate. There are questions about the actual issuance date of this set. Klwitz reports it to be February 2nd, 1993 but offers no concrete evidence to support this claim.

Registered air mail letter sent in March of 1993 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the perforated and imperforate Year of the Rooster set plus stamps from the UN Conference of the Environment set for an overall postage of 18,300D. Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare.

Registered air mail letter sent in October of 1993 from Ho Chi Minh Cit to Klewitz. The letter carries the perforated and imperforate Day of the Stamp set plus stamps from the Chines New Year set for an overall postage of 17,800D (including the red free frank for 1,800D). Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare.

Registered air mail letter sent in March of 1994 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the perforated and imperforate Chinese New Year of the Dog set plus stamps from the Chinese New Year of the Rooster (imperforate), International Year of Space (imperforate) and Main Post Office Saigon sets for an overall postage of 26,200D. Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare.

Registered air mail letter sent in February of 1995 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the the perforated and imperforate “Year of the Pig” sets plus stamps from the “Year of the Rooster” (imperforate), Honey Bees (imperforate) and Cat (stamp from souvenir-sheet) sets for an overall postage of 31,300D. Imperforate stamps and stamps from souvenir-sheets on postally used cover are very rare. Fulda arrival cancel on the reverse.

Registered air mail letter sent in April of 1996 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the imperforate Year of the Rat set plus stamps from the Year of the Rooster (imperforate) and Alpine Flower sets for an overall postage of 34,600D. Souvenir-sheets and imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare.
