Below are four of the hand painted essays (9.8cm x 14.6 cm) the stamp designer Trinh Quoc Thu submitted to postal authorities when he applied to design this commemorative stamp issue. Note the design changes and altered nominal values of the stamps that were made for the final printed issue. Unique one of a kind items signed by the artist.
Multiple franking of the 200D value paying an overall postage of 400D on a local letter sent from Phu Yen to HCM City in May of 1993. Tay HOa transit and HCM City machine arrival cancel on the reverse.
Mixed franking of the 400D Lada stamp (3) together with the 200D Ferrytail Tam paying an overall postage of 1,400D on a registered domestic air mail letter sent in June 1993 from Doc Pho to HCM City.

The letter carries the perforated The Fairy Tail of the evil Ta’m and the good Ca’m set plus stamps fro the Light Houses set (imperforate) for an overall postage of 25,200D. Imperforate stamps on postally used covers are very rare. Fragment of the green Fulda custom cachet on front.

The letter carries the imperforate The Fairy Tail of the evil Ta’m and the good Ca’m set plus stamps fro the Light Houses set (imperforate) for an overall postage of 27,000D. Imperforate stamps on postally used covers are very rare. Fragment of the green Fulda custom cachet on front.
Registered air mail letter sent in March of 2001 from Saigon to Klewitz. The letter carries the Bat set plus stamps from the Bad Tam and Good Cam (imperforate), Communist Party and VIETSTAMPEX 95 sets for an overall postage of 45,100D. Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare. Incoming German Post registration receipt on the reverse.
