Unified Vietnam, Fishing Boats, March 20th, 1989, Michel Nr. 2007-2013;Seven stamps in nominals of 10D (two stamps), 20D (two stamps), 30D (two stamps) and 50D were issued in perforation 12.75 and imperforate. Klewitz reports the issuance date of this set as January 8th, 1989 as there are First Day Covers with this date, so the date reported by Michel may not be correct.

The letter carries the other parts of the perforated Fishing Boat set plus stamps from the Communist Party, Cacti and HAFNIA Airplanes sets for an overall postage of 6,452D (including the red free frank for 6,230D). There is also a strip of three military free franks issued in 1984 that was technically not allowed as international postage but apparently was accepted by the postal clerk nevertheless.
