Unified Vietnam, Helicopters, April 12th, 1989, Michel Nr. 2014-2021, Block 68; Seven stamps in nominals of 10D (two stamps), 20D (two stamps), 30D (two stamps) and 50D were issued in perforation 12.75 and imperforate. There was also a souvenir-sheet with a 80D nominal. There are questions about the actual release date of this set. Klewitz reports that it was issued on October 9th, 1988. Also there are letters to Klewitz that use these stamps mailed on March 27th, 1989 so the Michel date is likely incorrect.
Stamps sold at Vietnamese post offices were sold without gum while stamps sold by the official Vietnamese stamp agency had no gum.
