The letter carries the entire perforated National Minorities set plus stamps from the Butterflies and Cham Culture sets for an overall postage of 1,066D (including the red free frank for 760D). Air mail letter sent in November of 1987 from Quan 5 (Cholon) to Klewitz. The letter carries the entire imperforate National Minorities set plus stamps from the Butterflies and Mannes Space Flight sets for an overall postage of 165D. Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare. 

Registered air mail letter sent in May of 1988 as a mixed currency franking from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the perforated and imperforate National Assembly stamp set plus stamps from the Friendship, Cactus, Traditional Minorities and Red Cross sets. Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare. The Friendship stamps were still denominated in old Dong while all other stamps were already denominated in new Dong.  The Vietnamese Government conducted a devaluation of the Dong on September 14th, 1985. This meant that all stamps issued prior to this date were only worth one tenth at the time of mailing. The overall postage hence amounted to 3.50 oD =0.35 nD. plus the stamps in new Dong (265 nD) plus the red free frank for 1317 nD for 1,582.35nD. Fragment of the green Fulda custom cachet on front.

The letter carries half of the imperforate Flowering Cacti set plus stamps from the Traditional Minorities (imperforate) and Execution of Party Decision sets for an overall postage of 1,740D (including the red free frank of 1,405D). Registered air mail letter sent in October of 1987 as a mixed currency franking from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the World Cup souvenir-sheet plus stamps from the Argentina Stamp Exhibition, National Games, Roses, Indochina-War (imperforate) and Traditional Clothing sets. Souvenir-Sheets and imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare. The Argentina Stamp Exhibition, National Games and Rose stamps were still denominated in old Dong while all the other stamps were denominated in new Dong. The Vietnamese Government conducted a devaluation of the Dong on September 14th, 1985. This meant that all stamps issued prior to this date were only worth one tenth at the time of mailing. The overall postage hence amounted to  34.02 oD =3.40nD. plus the stamps in new Dong (113D) plus the red free frank for 455D for 571.40 nD. Green Fulda custom cachet on the reverse.

Imperforate stamps and stamps from souvenir-sheets on postally used cover are very rare. The overall postage of the letter (including the red free frank for 1,363D) amounted to 1,553D. Registered express air mail letter sent in July of 1988 as a mixed currency franking from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries three of the 200D Economic Assistance stamps plus stamps from the Traditional Minority Clothing (imperforate), Mushrooms (imperforate), Poultry and Endangered Animal sets.  Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare.  The Protected Animal stamps were still denominated in old Dong while all other stamps were already denominated in new Dong.  The Vietnamese Government conducted a devaluation of the Dong on September 14th, 1985. This meant that all stamps issued prior to this date were only worth one tenth at the time of mailing. The overall postage hence amounted to  2 oD = 0.2 nD. plus the stamps in new Dong (770 nD)  and the red free frank for 846D for 1,616.2 nD. Fragment of the green Fulda custom cachet on front.
