Very rare air mail letter sent in August of 1979 from Ho Chi Minh City to Hong Kong. The letter carries the Children error stamp without the red printing run. Error stamps on postally used cover are very rare. There are also two of the Sport Games stamps. The overall postage amounted to 1.68 Dong.

It carries a large number of the Five Year Plan stamps (the green/yellow 12 xu stamp is all from the 1st printing) plus two of the 1 Dong Sport Games stamps for an overall postage of 8.40 Dong. Spectacular mass franking of the Five Year Plan series on a large registered express mail envelope mailed to Klewitz in October of 1980. The letter carries a number of the perforation errors of the Five Year Plan stamps. There is also one of the 40 xu Sport Games stamps. The overall postage amounted to 6.14 Dong. Rare registered express mail letter sent to Klewitz in September of 1980. It also carries a number of the Year of the Child stamps plus a 30 xu National Liberation Front (Vietcong) stamp. Due to the fact that NFL (Vietcong) stamps were based on the South Vietnamese Dong NFL stamps were not allowed as postage in North Vietnam. This is the reason why the postal clerk did not cancel the stamp. There are also two of the Sport Games stamps. The overall postage of the letter (excluding the NFL stamp) amounted to 3.70 Dong.

Very rare registered express mail letter featuring two 6 xu stamps and two 12 xu stamps with the post master perforation of the Socialist Republic stamps sent from Da-Lat (a mountain resort outside of HCM City) to West Germany sent in July of 1980.
