Unified Vietnam, Hymenopterons, February 20th, 1982, Michel Nr. 1204-1211;  Eight stamps in the nominals of 20 xu (two stamps) 30 xu, 40 xu 50 xu (two stamps) 60 xu and 1 Dong were issued in perforation 12 and im-perforated.

Strange local letter sent in February of 1983from Can Tho to HCM City and featuring the 20 xu Hymenopteron and the 30xu October Revolution stamp paying an overall postage of 50 xu. On both stamps the perforation was cut off for unknown reason but the letter was transported without incident. HCM City machine arrival cancel on the reverse.

Local letter sent to Ho Chi Minh City in August of 1984. The letter carries the 20 xu stamp of the Hymenopterons series plus two values of the 3xu Communist Party set for an overall postage of 26xu.

Registered letter sent from Nguyen Trai to Klewitz in June of 1982. The letter carries half of the Hymenopterons set plus stamps from the 1981 Bird set for an overall postage of 8.3 Dong. Green Fulda custom cachet on front.

Very rare air mail letter sent from Nguyen Trao to Klewitz in August of 1982. The letter carries half of the im-perforated Hymenopterans set plus some stamps from the 1981 Birds set for an overall postage of 3.1 Dong. Im-perforated stamps on postally used cover are very rare.

Registered letter sent from Nguyen Trai to Klewitz in October of 1983. The letter carries two sets of the Environment set in different color shades. The red HCM stamp (Communist Party set) shows on over-inking of the red color that partially obscures the nominal value and Buu Chinh. Error stamps on postally used cover are very rare. There is also a pair of two military free franks issued in 1982. Military free franks were not valid for international postage due to their missing nominal value, however they appear to have ben accepted in this case. Hymenopertons stamps on the reverse. The overall postage amounted to 8.34 Dong (including the red free frank for 5.5 Dong).Green Fulda custom cacher on front.

Registered air mail letter sent from Tan Binh to Klewitz in December of 1983. The letter carries the 10D Karl Marx value in both color variations, a number of stamps from the Hymenopterons set, the stamp set Cooperation with Soviet Union plus other contemporary NVN stamps for an overall postage of  58.54D. Green Fulda custom cachet on the reverse.

Registered air mail letter setoff rom Quan 5 to Klewitz in August of 1984. The letter carries some of the Karl Marx stamps plus the Hymenopterons set for an overall postage of 35.86D (including the red free frank for 1.66D). Partial green Fulda custom cachet on front.

Registered air mail letter sent in March of 1985 from HO Chi Minh City to Klewitz. Th letter carries six of the reprinted 50xu Peace Meeting stamp in darker colors. The pair on the right shows a significant passer-shift of the turquoise color downwards. There are also some Hymenoptera and Cooperation with the Soviet Union stamps for an overall postage of 35 Dong. Registered air mail letter sent as a mixed currency franking in March of 1985 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries four of the 10D Friendship stamps. There are also stamps fro the Hymenoptera, Union Conference , Flower and Ocean Fish as well stamps from 1958 which were still denominated in Old Dong. These stamps were devalued on March 1st, 1959 by 1,000:1. As a result the overall postage of the letter amounted to 48.92. Green Fulda custom cachet on front.

Registered air mail letter sent in June of 1986 as a mixed currency franking from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries stamps that were still denominated in old Dong (National Games, Hymenoptera, Day of the Post) and new Dong (National Assembly, Reconstruction, Dam Building).  The Vietnamese Government conducted a devaluation of the Dong on September 14th, 1985. This meant that all stamps issued prior to this date were only worth one tenth at the time of mailing. The overall postage hence amounted to  13.32 oD =1.33nD. plus the stamps in new Dong (24 nD) plus the red free frank for 17 nD for 42.33nD. Fragment of green Fulda custom cachet on front.
