Unified Vietnam, Ceramics, July 1st, 1989, Michel Nr. 2053-2057; Five stamps with nominals of 50D, 100D (two stamps), 200D and 300D were issued in perforation 12.25:12. There are questions about the actual issuance date of this set. Klewitz reports that it was released on May 1st, 1989 and Michel also cites Fist Day Covers from May 1st, so the May date may be the more realistic first date.

Unless one was using a free frank to add additional postage the low nominals would essentially demand too much space on a standard envelope.
