The letter carries five of the Postal Educational Center stamp plus stamps from the Glod Fish (imperforate), Thach Sanh, Flowers and Ministry for Post and Telecommunication sets for an overall postage of 12,100D (including the red free frank for 6,250D). Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare. Green Fulda custom cachet on front.

The letter carries the other half of the Children Aid set plus stamps from the Ships, World Cup Italy II, Old Sail Ships (imperforate), Socialist Republic, Postal Education Center and the rare overprinted World Cup IV set for an overall postage of 13,501.22 (including the red free frank for 3,250D). Registered air mail letter sent in July of 1996 as a mixed currency franking from Ho Chi Minh City to Klewitz. The letter carries the entire Asian Attractions II set plus stamps from the Bird set from 1981; Postal Administration Center (imperforate), Charity Organization Golden Heart and Ministry of Post and Telecommunication sets. Imperforate stamps on postally used cover are very rare.The Bird stamps were still denominated in old Dong. On September 14th, 1985 the Vietnamese Government conducted a devaluation which devalued the old Dong by 10:1. This meant old stamps used after that date were only worth one tenth of their face value.  The overall postage of the letter therefore amounted to 0.80 oD :10 = 0.08 nD plus stamps already in new Dong (20,850nD) for a total of 20,850.08D.

Registered air mail letter sent in November of 1997 from Ho Chi Minh City to Klwitz. The letter carries the Aids stamp in a pair plus stamps from the Children of Vietnam, Vajra Sculptures, Orchid (stamp from the souvenir-sheet) and Postal Education Center (imperforate) sets for an overall postage 26,850D. Imperforate stamps and stamps from souvenir-sheets on postally used cover are very rare. German incoming registered mail receipt on the reverse.
